GWWN joins Sheila Johnson’s I am powerful challenge.  Ms. Johnson is co-founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET) and owner of Washington Mystics Basketball Team.  Her champion launched June 2007, and will match gifts to CARE dollar for dollar engaging American to connect with women in poor countries and break down the barriers of poverty and inequity that have held them back for so long:

This organization helps disadvantage youth. It empower-at-risk youth and young ex-inmates by helping them to be self-sufficient, understand life’s purpose, and find as well as fulfill their purpose in life.
