Speaker Dawn McCoy
Dawn McCoy is a nationally-recognized speaker and author of “Leadership Building Blocks: An Insider's Guide to Success.” As one of the youngest African-Americans elected to the Sacramento City Unified School Board, McCoy examines seven self-help leadership fundamentals. Ms. McCoy worked on Capitol Hill and served as a nonprofit executive at several national organizations including: The College Board, The National Association of College, and University Business Officers. She is founder and president of Flourish Leadership Group, dedicated to transforming ordinary people into extraordinary leaders. Ms. McCoy holds a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and master’s degree from Georgetown University.
